The problem
Freemarket are a successful Foreign Exchange business based in the city of London, with a focus on cross-border payments and B2B relationships. They provide B2B payment services in the UK and Europe and have successfully secured a number of very high-profile clients and prestigious banking partnerships. As the company has grown in headcount and revenue, Freemarket realised a need to improve their engineering capability and needed to re-define their Service Design strategy. Gathered & Found were hired by Freemarket to carry out a series of deep technical assessments and analysis and to help them design a new strategy for Design, UX and Engineering, as well as re-developing their core platform.
